The best dining experience of our whole trip to Cape May! The restaurant was huge and had nice views of the water, and we seemed to wait less time than what we were quoted which is always a plus. The staff uniforms were charming, and the menu had a nice variety for both land and sea lovers. We couldn't stop eating the bread, and my friends were all so happy with their seafood dishes. I ordered the chicken francaise and was surprised to see it come with a grilled cheese underneath! It wasn't listed on the menu but they said it was standard, so that was an interesting touch. I was there for my bachelorette and my friends worked with our amazing server, Emily, to surprise me with a dessert! I would definitely come back again the next time I'm here and will be recommending it to anyone I know coming to Cape May!

I've been eating here for years but never did a review. We went this weekend and had a terrific time. Sorry no pics!! First off, I've never eaten in the dining room or on the Schooner. This review is for the take out window and outdoor seating. It's always crowded but the line inside to order moves quickly. If you want to sit outside on the dock or get takeout you order inside. They announce pull your number outside when it's ready. The bar for alcoholic drinks is outside near the raw bar. The raw bar has a separate ordering and pick up spot. The most difficult part is making sure you find a table before your food is ready. It's a free for all lol. Weekends in the summer are crazy busy. We lucked out getting a table rather quickly. Got our drinks and enjoyed the view. The platters didn't take too long. I got the broiled lobster/shrimp/scallop platter with baked potato. It comes with coleslaw. It's a nice portion for $25!! Always my go to. The seafood is fresh and always cooked perfectly. We also ordered some blue claws from the raw bar. They came out super hot though. They had a decent amount of old bay. The jumbos are very meaty. First time trying the crabs there. Not bad.

One of our go to stops when we're at the shore. If you never experience dining on the dock or the schooner you're missing a memory. The raw bar has great soups and fresh oysters and clams. You can only purchase beer and wine on the deck. For mixed drinks you have to board the schooner. The schooner like the deck gives you great views of the boats sailing in and out of the docks. This is a must stop in cape may

This historic popular spot was on our must visit list when in Cape May Plenty of Parking Glad we visited as the service was top notch I and the food was tasty. Soup, calamari and Lobster house special is a must. I'll be back.

A large group of us come here every year. I am remiss in posting ... This year there were 9 of us. Celina our waitress, Molly the bartender, and Brett the host, all provided stellar service. We started with a couple of appetizers to spilt- steamed clams and raw oysters. Unfortunately, duty called and I left before I could eat. I will return.
